I've read all of the good stuff about yacon root syrup, so I was excited to try this. Man, this is good. It doesn't taste like chocolate the way I had heard but has almost a slight anise flavor mixed with a brown sugar and or black strap molasses flavor. Whatever the flavor, it is delicious.



I am taking this a teaspoon at a time before meals like that crazy Dr. Oz said to do...but I've tried raspberry ketones, garcinia cambogia, and a host of his other recommendations. The truth is no matter what he suggests, nothing works when combined with a large pepperoni and sausage pan crust. However, this stuff tastes great as a sweetener in my oatmeal and after a couple of days I feel like maybe I can cut down to half a large pepperoni and hold the sausage. Seriously, I do feel like my appetite isn't as powerful.
