I did some research into forskolin, and although commercially touted as a fat burner, the potential of forskolin's cAMP inducement goes far beyond shedding of pounds. Forskolin is also a vasodilator, meaning it widens the blood vessels, which leads me to personally infer possible use as headache prevention (aspirin works the same way in relieving pain). I haven't found any documented studies on this particular aspect, it being pure inference on my part, but one that fascinates me.
There are a handful of documented clinical studies on the weight reduction aspect, one of which has been peer-reviewed and formally published. Yet the additional benefits of alleviating the causes of glaucoma and repairing nerve damage have greater personal interest.
